Rockliffe’s Mud Rasul gives an old bathing tradition a place in a modern countryside spa. Inspired by a Middle Eastern ritual, the experience combines a salt scrub, Dead Sea mud and herbal steam. Guests apply the scrub and mud themselves, so there’s a tactile quality to the treatment: salt against skin, the texture of mud, then the warmth of steam.
After the mud and steam, there’s a choice of six thermal and cold therapy suites, including igloos and salt steam rooms. A 20-metre pool allows for a proper swim, while the hydropool offers a gentler option. The Spa Garden brings the countryside into view, with an infinity-edge pool overlooking the estate.
