Your next book club comes with a literary past. Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond was once home to Katherine Bradley and Edith Cooper, two poets who published together as Michael Field. Its Riverhouse Book Club brings readers back to the riverside hotel on Monday 19 October, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Hosted by trauma coach Sophie Brigstocke and psychotherapist Kate Hogan, Books to Wake Us Up explores reading that challenges how you see yourself and your habits. Members choose the next book by voting, with a one-page reading guide emailed the week before each gathering.
