What to expect from Fayre at The Shepherd Mayfair

The old May Fair had theatres, games and a taste for spectacle. Its namesake restaurant, Fayre, opens at The Shepherd Mayfair this October with that history on the walls and a menu that has some fun with British classics. Adam Ellis’s artwork depicts the fair; the kitchen serves beef Wellington as a pithivier and gives puddings their own changing menu, presented by the glass.

It’s an idea with enough character to make dinner in Shepherd Market feel like an occasion. The first pudding announced was strawberry and Champagne trifle. What comes after it is part of the appeal. See what’s on the menu when Fayre opens and book a table here.
