Sally Abé is leaving London for the Cotswolds this September, with a one-night dinner at The Lakes by YOO on 12 September.
The chef behind Teal in Hackney will take over The Lakes Bar & Kitchen with a tasting menu shaped around seasonal British produce. It comes after Abé’s return to Great British Menu, where she won the main course with a dish celebrating British food and farming.
The dinner is the latest in The Lakes’ Supper Club series, which has previously brought Tom Aikens, Emily Roux and Adam Smith to the estate. With a different chef taking charge of each dinner, it has become an interesting addition to the Cotswolds food calendar, and Abé feels particularly well suited to it.
